Golf & Sleep
Question
How important is having a good night's sleep before you play a round of golf?
Answer
Elaine,
Having a good night's sleep is important regardless of what you have planned for that day. Golf is no exception. Sleeping on a bed that is comfortable is important to you. Having a bed that has tremendous support is extremely important as well. If you are purchasing a coil mattress, make sure that the gauge of steel used is a low number (the lower the number the thicker the steel). 12&3/4 gauge is the thickest steel (single coil), that I know of, that is used in the industry. The amount of coils matters to a certain extent.
There are alternatives to the coil mattresses. The Tempur Pedic and the Select Comfort Sleep Number beds are carried at Mattress Firm stores throughout the country. They give great comfort, pressure reliving and very suppotive beds in this category.
A great nights sleep on a supportive is vital to maximize your productivity for the day ahead.
If you haven't purchased a new bed in the last 6-8 years, it's probably time to do so.
Elaine, I hope this answers your question and if you have additional questions about mattresses, sleep or golf, fell freee to ask.
