Great golf shot, but still too high!!

Hi Dathaeus, I've reached a point where my swing is finally starting to come together...I'm lagging the club, staying on plane (relatively flat), and hitting the ball from an inside-out path.  As a result the ball is really exploding off the club face with a penetrating flight, and I'm consistently taking a divot.  But my launch trajectory still seems unusually high.  For example, when I hit a good 7-iron shot, it looks like a high, screaming, well-struck 9-iron shot that lands at around 140 yards.  Similarly, my 3-iron shots travel along a flight path that resembles a well-struck 5-iron shot that goes around 165 yards.  I know ball trajectory is a relatively subjective observation, but in my case it抯 pretty blatant, and my playing partners agree.

I know it抯 hard to answer without a video (I抦 working on it), but does my description sound symptomatic of any swing problems?  I抦 pretty sure I抦 not scooping the ball because I抳e had that problem before and know what that feels like.  Does it mean I Just need to lag the club that much more in order to release the clubhead later.  One important thing is that I haven't incorporated much of a leg drive yet.

Any ideas?  sorry for the long post and thanks in advance.
