Driving yardage
Question
Hi, i am new to the game and trying to work out if i am above or below average with my hitting distances. I regularly hit 90 yards from a 9 iron and 200 yards with a 5 driver. I use these clubs as examples as these are the two i am most consistent with.

The yardages listed in the chart below show a range for average amateurs, both male and female. As you'll see, the ranges are quite large, and represent short hitters, mid hitters and long hitters. (There are, of course, people who hit it longer, just as there are people who hit it shorter.)

I'm not sure what you mean by a 5 Driver. I think you mean 5 wood.
