Straighening out my longer clubs

Question
Hi, I don't have a handicap but I typically shoot anywhere from the upper 70s to low 90s and I am pretty sure that my driving accuracy is costing me a lot of strokes. I play most of my rounds on a course that has OB left and water right on a lot of holes and when I don't get the ball in play it obviously leads to big numbers. My typical ball flight is right to left, and I hit my driver probably around 290 average. My problem is that when I miss I tend to hit blocks out to the right that I feel like I hit well, but they go right and sometimes fade a little also. Or sometimes I think when I get too quick I'll hit a snap hook left. I don't know if it's an alignment issue or more my swing but I know if I were able to keep the ball in play more consistently I would be scoring in the 70s on a much more consistent basis. Another note, my friends tell me I hit the ball higher than anyone they have ever seen. I still get quite a big of distance out of all my clubs but I hit everything pretty high, especially my irons. Thanks for your help!

Answer
Hello there and you for asking.  I understand what you are
asking, but first you should read some of the relevant FAQ's
I have already taken time to write out which will give you
much better knowledge of your issue and then if you have any
additional questions you can also ask me from the FAQ page.
So please go to

http://answerway.com/profile.php?expid=Dathaeus

and click on "View My Public FAQS!" in the Golf section, and
in particular for your issue, please read:

- Physics of moment of impact in golf...
- Basic Ball Flights & Causes...
- Lower ball flight...
- Swing Consistency & Beginner Tips...
- Swing Plane Drills...
- Correcting Push Fades...
- Swing too steep & Popping drives up...

If you need more help and advice after reading the FAQs,
please send me the following info and I can help you further:

(at the same link
http://answerway.com/profile.php?expid=Dathaeus
and click on "Ask Me a Direct Question" in the Golf section)

- Current/Best Ever Handicap or last 5 scores
- Distance hit with driver, 5 iron, SW
- Your driver head model and shaft model + all specs you can see on it
- Avg putts per round
- Avg and preferred ball flight depending on club
- Tournament experience if any
- Hours you do/can dedicate to golf improvement every week

And as far as your friends telling you the flight of your ball, I cannot really use information like that unless I know the skill level of your friends... amateurs are more easily impressed with shots they cannot do, so they think higher is more majestic because they cannot hit it that high, or it may just be an equipment issue.

Thanks and good luck!
