tee setting for tee off
Question
I am sorry if this sounds like a lame inquiry. I am a true newbie to the game and was wondering how deep to set the tee as per the different clubs to be used - driver - iron etc. For example, I read that for a driver..the equator of the ball should be at the top of the driver. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance and have a great day :-)

That is OK advice. It's personal preference really, however, as you start, I would tee your ball up as high as you can to help you get it airborn. For a 3 or 5 wood, tee it up about an inch. For irons, tee it up low about a half inch above ground.
