rules for two-person scramble
Question
In playing this format, player one hit her second shot but then it was determined that player two's was a further drive. So player two hit from there......I feel there is a penalty because, as a team, you determine which ball to play and since player one had already hit the shorter, that is where they should take the second shot from...our pro was uncertain about it. Thanks for your help resolving this matter.
Answer
Carol,
Once player one hit from a location, then that was the ball chosen. Player two should have played from where player one played from. If the team played player two's second shot, they should have been disqualified.
Hope this helps.
