Proper hand action through impact
Question
I have a problem with flipping of the wrists through impact. I am a 14 handicap and hit a lot of pushes with rare blocks and slices as well as the occasional hook. Rarely does the ball go straight and I only hit 2-4 fairways and greens per round. I have try to maintain a flat left wrist and maintain the bend in the right wrist at impact and then let the right forearm roll over the left in early follow through. However my results remain inconsistent. If I hold on too long I am hitting pushes or blocks. Too early and I am hooking. The OB shots kill my score especially when I try intentional fades and draws and the shots curve the opposite direction. Any comments on improving my technique and timing are appreciated. Thanks
