Ecco Golf Shoe Repair

Question
I did not realize that my new Ecco golf shoes have the new Q-lock spike system.  
I thought a spike had separated leaving half of the spike in the spike socket.  I
tried to extract what remained in the socket, and damaged the shoe so that the
the Q-lock spikes do not stay in place.  Did I ruin the shoe?  Or, can I some
replace that particular spike entirely and salvage my investment?

Hey Curt.

I can understand your frustration. Ecco makes some seriously comfortable shoes, but they're not cheap!  I doubt there is really much you can do, short of trying to superglue the socket back into the shoe. Other than that, I'd say you should just seal the hole with something to keep moisture out and just go one spike short.
