SCOTLAND 1922 BED
Question
QUESTION: In 1922 in Scotland, in some Golf Games a bed was there.
Why? What was it doing?
ANSWER: Yiangos: AllExperts has informed me this question is unanswered. I'll repeat my answer as it seems it was lost in the system. I've never seen any reference to a bed in golf games in Scotland. If you'll give me more information, I'll try do some research and hopefully come up with the answer.

QUESTION: Thanks for the interest, John. I will give you as much information as I have (the question is from a Radio Q&A Programme and it is still unanswered). The ''appearance'' of the bed took place in a few games/tournaments in 1922 and some subsequent years. It was not part of the game. It was not used in connection with the game itself. My suspicion is that it was used by someone for some purpose. It was an ordinary bed. Please try!! Thanks again.
Answer
If you could provide a picture or a link to the picture you're referring to, I would appreciate it. I've searched, thinking it would be a good start to see what you're talking about but I've not been able to find one. If I had to guess, I'd say it was someone's sarcastic wit about it being a lazy man's game.
Give me more to go on and I'll see what I can find.
