Answer
Hello Richard:
I want you to picture a clock. At 12 o'clock is your target (like the flagstick for example). I will speak of your swing path, the path the club approaches the ball on and the path the club swings on past the ball. Now picture the clock on your golf ball as well. Basically, you are swinging your club from 7 o'clock to 1 o'clock. That would produce a divot to the right and depending on the clubface at impact, a pull, a pull hook, a push or a slice. You would tend to pull your shorter irons and fade your longer clubs. So, to fix it, you need to start swinging from 5 o'clock to 11 o'clock. You need to change the path the club swings into and past the ball. I am sure you can picture your divot would straighten out if you started doing the opposite. So let a clock help you fix your divot. Good luck. This is not hard Richard and shouldn't take you long to see reults.
