Videoing the golf swing
Question
Hey Eddie,
I am interested in recording my swing. What features should I look for in a camera? Cost is a factor. Also, is there a particular software that stands out over the rest? v1 seems to be very popular but I'm not sure of the others. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Jason
Answer
Hi Jason:
I am not the expert here, but I will share with you what I do. I am not sure what kind of recording you want to do and for what purpose. I use the JC Video Bullet System for my instruction. It is extremely user friendly and it has the software loaded in already. There are also approximately 1000 swings of Tour players already loaded to compare to. I use one camera and have a 25 foot cable that enables me to move easily from in front of to behind my student. The top models for video recording are all good, it just depends on what you want to do with it as to the accessories and add ons you'll need. As far as burning CD's and all the bells and whistles, I am not that advanced yet nor have the need to use it. Sorry to not offer much. I would search online and check out the systems for yourself.
