Question
where to position ball using #4 hybrid
Answer
Hi Pat,
With all full swings from the grass, the ball position should correspond to the point about an inch before the bottom of your swing. This is to ensure you are hitting down on the golf ball witha descending blow. For most golfers, this position is the middle of the stance or just back of middle.
Take some practice swings on the grass attempting to take a divot. Identify the deepest part of the divot. That is the bottom of your swing. Do this 5 times to get an average.
If you are teeing the ball with the hybrid (say on a par three), you can play the same position or a little more forward.
Hope this helps.
