QuestionJohn,
The question with the bed in Golf games is still unanswered, both in All Experts and in the Radio Programme.(The question is about a bed which was present at Golf Games in Scotland in 1922.Why was it brought there? It had nothing to do with the actual game itself). The new clue is that the bed was brought to the grounds by a different player each time (each game of a series/tournament). This is a serious factual, not a trick question. Please help!!

AnswerYiangos: I thought I would give this one last shot before I gave up. Here's a copy of what and who I wrote. Maybe it will lead you somewhere you haven't looked before.
Good Luck!
John
Gentlemen: I've been asked a question I cannot answer about a bed which was present at Golf Games in Scotland in 1922. Why was it brought there? It had nothing to do with the actual game itself). A clue is that the bed was brought to the grounds by a different player each time (each game of a series/tournament) Any enlightenment into the matter will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
John
Thanks for your e-mail.
I have never heard of this tradition and I know it is not mentioned in Robert Browning who wrote extensively on these things in the middle of the last century.
