golf shaft flexes
Question
without knowing my swing speed ,how can i determine which shaft flex is best for me. also what is the difference between x flex and stiff flex.
Answer
you can make an educated guess by distance. This is the distance the ball flies not where it ends up after the roll.
Take your distance where it lands and divide by 2.5. That will give you an approximate swing speed.
Also take into consideration your transition. if you are aggressive then you may want to bump the flex needs. If you are smooth then you can use something a bit more flexible.
"x" f;ex is the next flex above "S" flex meaning more stiff. Typically this is reserved for golfers that can hit the ball no less than 270-280 in the air.
