Club fitting
Question
I feel like my putter is to small for me I am 6'6 what length would you recommend my putter to be
Answer
sorry for the delay, apparently my email is a bit off.
for most golfers,,, at 6' 3" in height the golf club tends to get longer to fit the golfer.
This applies to putters too. The average length for putters is 35" long and is typically too long for average golfers.
Too check your length, take your normal stance and have someone stand behind you. if your eye are NOT above the ball or slightly to the inside of the ball your length is not right. Try sliding up the grip and see how much of your hand is off the grip until the right stance is found.
there is more to the fitting than just length. Head style (mallet, blade) grip size, weight and offset are all important factors when fitting the putter.
