club flex
Question
How can you tell the flex of a club? I have a set of ping zing 2 irons and I dont see anything that indicates the flex of the club. Do you have any ideas?
Answer
I am not sure how to tell the flex of those specific clubs if there are no markings however, there are a few ways to get the flex. Many clubmakers have a frequency machine that gives you a number to indicate the stiffness of a club. you can find one in your area and take them there or if you just want a general idea of the stiffness of a club you can usually tell by where the first step in the shaft begins in relation to the clubhead. this of course only works if the shaft is not a rifle shaft. the shorter the distance the stiffer the club. this is just for a general idea only. you can call it a quick cheat that works some of the time.
hopefully this helps, if you have any other questions let me know
