Driver loft
Question
My swing speed is 90mph and I tend to slice the ball. Would a draw bias driverhelp and what loft would benefit my swing speed?
The big bertha draw driver is offered in 10 11 or 13 degree. I hit a 10 and was hitting it 225 yards. I heard higher loft keeps the ball straight but costs yardage.
Answer
Hello there and you for asking. draw/fade drivers dont help swing flaws... they are actually meant to help straight hitters work the ball a bit or people with slight draw or fade tendencies, so dont waste your time on that. Higher loft does shoot a straighter ball... think driver or a sand wedge... hard to hook or slice a sandwedge hit solidly. Distance i another issue... without looking at your swing, I cannot tell you what loft will provide the best distance for you... it is not that cut and dry. A 6 degree driver will not go farther for you then an 11 degree see?
