shaft angle/high,low hands?

Question
Hanging your arms relaxed and naturally down at address seems to be the best advice from everything I've read, however,if you hold your driver,or any club for that matter,in a straight line (at address remember) with your left arm doesn't that create a wider arc thus more distance and the centrifical force created by the swing causing your hands to be raised higher at impact thus extending the club further away from you than it was at address and causing your impact area to be a little farther away from you?--Could you clarify the correct position of high or low hands and being close to the legs or farther from the legs?THANKS

Answer
John,

Having your arms in a relaxed straight position from your shoulders is best the position at address. During the swing the hands may stray away slightly from the body. The shaft of the club also bows in during impact compensating for the hands being slightly further away. You're on the right path and I would recommend keeping your hands low or relaxed at address.

Good luck,

Michael
