pga club pro requirements
Question
My son graduated from the University of Tennessee lettering
four years. He has been on pro tours, US Amateur twice and has worked at a nice club in Jupiter, Florida for five years as a caddy and doing desk work, etc. What would be required of him to become a pga club pro with his education and experience?
Thank you!
Answer
Hello Beverly, It's been years (30+) since I graduated from the program and it has changed greatly since. I do recall that having a 4-year college degree served to cut the requirements nearly in half. I do not have first hand knowledge of what you're asking but you can begin to find the answer here:

The head professional there in Jupiter should be able to put you in touch with people who can answer any questions you have after reviewing the above links.
Good luck,
John
