Professional golf

Hi there,

My partner plays golf 5 maybe 6 times a week! His current handicap is 3 at the moment, he's dream is one day to
Play professionally. He and I and his club knows that he can go very far, with a PGA coach coaching him, although we all know that you need money to make it far!
I was just wondering what you would suggest his next steps would be?

Well my first question would be this...

1. What does his local PGA Club Professional think?

More times than not the answer you seek is right in your own back yard.

I can tell you this, if you were local to me, the very first thing we would do is to have a meeting to discuss this.

There are many parts that must be considered in order for everything to come out as expected.

So without getting to drawn out with my answer to you is to.  

Set up a meeting with your local PGA Professional and get his thoughts.  

I have been down this road personally, as well as a PGA Professional, I have coached several players down this path and still do.  You are correct it does take money.  But there are many many ways that you can accomplish the task for that.

I would go into more detail here but that would result in me writing a Novel.  I don't think you want to read something like that on the internet.

If you would like to set up a meeting via Skype, I am more than willing to do that and we could all talk then.  If I remember correctly we are hours apart in time zones.  As right now it is 10:40 PM here and 6:40 AM in the UK.
