I hit too high

Hi Michael, I'm an 8 handicap, have a swing speed of about 117-120. I hit a long ball with all clubs and play extra stiff shafts in everything! My driver and fairway woods work wonders with Diamana white boards. I am playing Nike VR Pro combo irons with true temper dynamic gold xp shafs and hit my 5 iron on average 215 yards, but the height I get on my irons is incredible. I would prefer a lower ball flight, any suggestions?

That is some kind of swing speed. Wow!! That swing speed in itself will send the ball to an incredible height. Your playing extra stiff shafts already, so can't help there.

Two possible suggestions. First, try playing the ball further back in your stance. This will deloft the face at impact and should keep the ball lower. Secondly, try delofting your irons as the last resort. You'll hit the ball lower but mostly it will travel further.

Just a note. Most golfers would love to have your "problem". Do your best with it.
