Fishing in Dubai

Hi,

I am currently living in Dubai and have my parents coming to visit for the 1st time this weekend.  My dad is a very keen fisherman and is bringing his rods with him but I'm not sure where to take him.  Please can you advise any good spots along the coast /creek to drop him for a days fishing.

Also, I'm desperately trying to find him a Deep Sea fishing trip but all of the companies I have spoken to require you to charter a boat which is quite pricey for just 1 person.  Are you aware of any companies which arrange tours for groups of individuals?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sam,

Charters here are ran on boats and thats the only option. however, there are quite a few fishing opportunities around.

have your dad visit http://fishemirates.freeforums.org/ and ask the guys there about their coming fishing trips, the guys there fish every weekends.
