Tackle Making

I have absolutely no idea what kind of company or where to look for a company that makes a prototype of fishing tackle for a person. I am in Canada and have an new type of fishing tackle that I would like to look into getting manufactured, but need to know what type of company I would be looking for to makeup a sample of what I am looking to make and market somehow. This is all new to me.  People get things manufactured everyday to later market, but I don't know where to start.  I have no idea who to approach to make something. I was thinking of getting my new fishing tackle idea made and then possibly seeing about getting a licencing agreement with a well known company for distributing or however this works.  I will work on how you market something later, right now, I would want a sample of my new tackle made, but don't know what kind of company does this.  I have no idea how any of this type of thing works, costs involved or the like, but would like to know where to start.  There is nothing I can find on the net that leads me to what type of company I would be looking for to make a prototype of something.  You say you were a tackle manufacturer so thought you might be able to point me in the right direction.  Thank you, much appreciated.

Though I really believe you need into what work needs to be done first (if you need something stamped, if you need something molded...etc.)
