cleaning reel

  I'm new at fly fishing. I fish in (salt water). Would like to know the proper way to clean reel and line after days fishing.

Jerry,
It is extremely important that you clean your gear (rod and reel) after every use in salt water. I will strip the line down to the backing and use a mild soultion of soap, warm water, and a small nail brush to scrub the reel. Check the link below for additional info...
