Shakespear executive fly rod and case

Question
I have a Shakespear Executive fly rod... It is a Model A848. It has a leather case The says Shakespear Executive Wonderod. On the case there is also a name and address in the same gold lettering. I can only read the last name which I believe is Buttons and the state which I believe is Mass.

This this rod and case have any value?

Sorry for the delay in responding - been doing a little fishing.

Shakespeare Wonderods have a loyal following among fiberglass rod afficianados. I don't know exactly what value they would place on your old rod and the case, but you can find out by going to the Fiberglass Flyrodder's forum ( http://fiberglassflyrodders.yuku.com/ ) and posting this question there. They are a friendly bunch and very knowledegable about glass rods.
