old rods and reals
Question
hello i have been looking to see if this fly rod and reel are worth putting up for money later or something the rod is a Walker #1296 made in the use its like 8'/2 something i can not make out the rest of it. and the reel is a GlADDING South bend 1140, and i have a Wright & Mcgill dence 9ft no mb 8a9 reel and a shakespeare silent tru art automatic #1837 model HN and one more a hurd super caster its still works but not the best shape so will call it one two and three and you cant hurt my feelings if there and junk and keep fishin with them lol or put them up.. thanks Bryan

Sorry for the delay in answering - I was out of town for a couple of days.
The Hurd Supercaster is probably the most collectible item you've listed. That odd configuration is somewhat unique and they usually sell pretty well. Not huge money, but it would sell.
The remainder of the items are pretty common and might or might not sell. Probably the best place to offer most of the rods and reels is on the Fiberglass Fly rod forum. They'll want to see pictures, but it's not hard to post them there. That URL is : fiberglassflyrodders.yuku.com/
However, I would list the Hurd on eBay or the like for the best results.
