fly fising rods

i have a 9 ft 2 piece true temper 1296 model fly rod.could you tell me when it was made and what its worth? also have same size rod made by southbend model 3140.

Hi Chuck - both rods most likely date to the late 50's or 60's when hardware stores were selling mass produced cane rods under thier brand.  Both are probably pretty good fishing rods...many of these era rods are nice casters.  If they are in really good shape they are both proabaly worth around $100 to $200.  I hope this helps,
