Answer
Chad,
Classic & Antique Fly-Fishing Tackle: A Guide for Collectors & Anglers by A.J. Campbell has several pages on the Divine Co.
Constructing Cane Rods: Secrets of the Bamboo Fly Rod by Ray Gould and The Technology of Fly Rods: An In-Depth Look at the Design of the Modern Fly Rod, Its History and Its Role in Fly Fishing by Don Phillips and Ernest Schwiebert; both mention Divine.
Michael Sinclair has a book on Divine, Fishing Rods by Divine. I don't own it and unlike most of the books I mention, it is not in the Colorado Library system.
Sinclair in Bamboo Rod Restoration Handbook. He does mention the Rainbow model starting in the 1920s.
Homel price book does not have the rainbow model in it.
The Divine Rod Company hand built fishing rods from the late 1870's through the mid 1930's.
A web site on Divine Rods.

According to Michael Sinclair in Bamboo Rod Restoration Handbook. The letter was added as A in 1910 , B was 1911. This means you rod was 1917 by the H.
I sold a rainbow for $300 last year (for a person who contacted me on this web site)

I quote these books written by researchers so you know I am not making it all up, But I include my experience as well.
It has taken me the best part of an hour to write this up , please take a few seconds to provide feedback. Please remember I am a volunteer , the feedback is the only result I get from doing this.
Luck,
Mac
