Phillipson fly rod/Wright McGill fly rod

Hi I just came into two rods, one is a Phillipson made from a Epointe rod blank. On the rod it says (Phillipson Epointe Deluxe custom built for Edwards & Walker)the rod is like new (very good to excellent condition). I also have the rod case made of alumium with Phillpson name on the tag. The other rod is a Wright & McGill 6 wt 71/2 ft on the rod it says #4TMU Trailma--t- letters our missing can you tell wen they where made and what they our worth? Also who would be interested in them? Than you Phil

Hi Phil,
The Eponite blanks appeared around 1955 with rods made on those from then through the 1960s. You didn't specify the length of this rod so I'll assume it's in the 8'-9' range. Value in very good to excellent condition should be in the $150-$200 range.
The W-M rod is a Trailmaster and should be one where the handle and reel seat can be rearranged easily to make a fly rod or spinning rod. This rod is possibly from the 1960s-1970s, but they are still made today. They are fairly popular out here in the mountains as they are easily packed on horse, backpack or ATV. This rod would be valued in the $40-$70 depending on actual condition.
