AnswerJerry,
Just curious, which you may answer via mail at
[email protected]. You found me at All Experts but did you find the answers on Horton Bristol steel metal by me and others ? I am not being rude or curt, just curious if you saw any options that would guide to to an answer already written. There are a number of them by Joe , me and others on this rod. And you can search them,
History :

Bristol / Horton rods are mentioned in Antique & Collectable Fishing Rods: Identification & Value Guide Homel, Dan. 1997 (2nd edition 2000).
These old metal rods are apparently worthless unless you sell them for a wall hanger like $25. I have tried without luck. The metals just aren't collectable like the bamboo. I have one and it is not fishable either, my arm hurt after a few moments.
I have seen values quoted for these rods on the internet but never seen money exchanged.
Luck,
Mac
