J C HIGGINS RODS

I have 4 JCHIGGINS rods with stag in the handles with higgins signature in the stag. I have been searching the web trying to find out some history on them....   Can you help   Thank you

Hi Gene,

The JC Higgins was a Sears private label item from probably some time between 1940's to about 1960.  I am not sure if the stag in the handle is something special.  I am not the antique rod expert on this site.  Please pose this question to Joe Douglas.  He will have more info for you.  Please include a photo if possible.
