AnswerShari,
Indian head doesn't match my knowledge but I think you have a decent fishing tool.
So it could also be something else.
It was made by Horrocks - Ibbotson Co.Rod of NY.
I can't grasp your measurements - I hope the sections are all equal in length other wise condition is poor. I have read it several times , I am assuming you have a 2 section rod with 2 tip sections.
Tonka Prince is the model and should have been white paint, in script not printing.
The metal might be nickel silver but probably chrome platted brass.
Price Book:
Antique & Collectible Fishing Rods: Identification & Value Guide Homel, Dan. 1997 (2nd edition 2000) add about 30% for age of book.
Homel gives the Horrocks - Ibbotson "Tonka Prince" fly rod 7' with an extra tip, 2 sections the value of $30, 95 and $175 for poor, good, excellent condition respectively. I think if properly presented might bring 300. You might want to email me your email , someone may make an offer to you ,
