Ulsan Fishing Rod
I recently purchased at auction a "Ulsan Custom Built Rod, Model No. 1967 BR-14. The rod is a heavy duty casting rod and measures 7ft. long. It has natural cork grips, is brown mustard in color with green and yellow banding attaching the eyes. It came with a Penn Jigmaster 500M reel, (complete with original box and manuels. It came out of a personal collection with hundreds of other items. All very fine stuff. The rod and reel looks to be in near new condition.
Any idea on what it is worth? Any other information you can provide would be appreciated. Thank you.

I think you mean Uslan.
The maker is not in my books , But I have heard good things about the maker It is respected but not well known.
I am unsure but I am going to guess it is not a fly rod , it is made of bamboo , with 5 sides.
I have been keeping notes on ebay sales of this maker. The average Uslan spin rod price has been 177. But I think I could get 300 if the condition is as you have written.
