Heddon Pal Rod hand tied?

Question
I have a Heddon Pal rod that was my neighbors in the 50's, it is fiberglass.  Is it hand tied by my neighbor or factory tied?

Description on the rod is:

HeddonPal
#8456 Mark IV 8' 3"
Power Plus Action
G. GBG-GaF

All this is hand written on the rod in black ink?

Robert,

the rods from that time period were hand wound and the ink was hand applied. Depending on condition its somewhat collectable rod. I have a Heddon Pal bait casting rod I fish with (paired up with an old reel and beat up wooden fishing lures.

In average condition $30-40, mint closer to $75.
