where to go
Question
This is a long quesion. I recently came back from lawerence bay lodge in canada (a once in a life time trip with my father). I enjoyed it so much that I enjoyed it so much, I would like to take my wife there. Here is the problem a long drive or an expensive flight along with the expence of the lodge makes its a hard sell. Here is my plan, and the help I need from you. I live in the Quad City area in Iowa what I need from you is the nameof a resort that we can go, somewhere in northeast ND, northest MIN, or southeast SAS canada. Where we can fish 6 days for panfish, bass, walley, and nothern. We usually went to Ely MIN a 12 hour drive in the days before kids and when the kids arrived that was put on the back burner.with the kids leaving or gone what a perfict time to start fishing again with my best partner my wife ( I liked fishing alot more when I caught more that her but I feel those days are gone). The reason I chose the above mentioned areas what better way to end a trip than the last 3 days at lawerence bay resort on reindeere lake, sure would be nice and a good suprise I think. You help me find a place and I'll do the rest. THANKS WES
Answer
Well, i have never been to Canada, and I don't know of anything in min, but there is an awsome place i visit every year in northeast North Dakota. Its called devils lake. Tons of fishing hunting camping anything you can imagine. The reservation number is 701-662-5996. If i remember right, its 75 dollars per day per person for a motel, 85 per day per person for a lodge and 95 per person per day for a cabin. hopes this helps sorry i cant help with the other two..
