I found inside a garage wall 22yrs age and really just forgot about it till i found.
Ive been told its a bamboo fly rod
Handle stamped Bristol by Horton manufacturing co bristol conn.
Its in 4 pieces 2@ 38" 1 tip @ 18" and the wood and metal handle to make just under 9'.
Unusual line glides at least 2 me

I need a lot more details to help you.
i.e. What is the shape of the rod , round or flat sided?
Is the handle below the reel seat or above? below is fly , above is casting, spinning or boat
Could the rod be metal ? fiberglass ? Bamboo looks like wood and is flat sided.

Horton bought Bristol and made bamboo rods in 1941 ish. They continued to make rods until the 50s.
The guides not glides have ceramic inserts common on older rods. I am guessing it is a steel spin rod and not very valuable but could have been made from the 30s.
Look carefully if flat sided for a F on the rod and get back to me.
