AnswerRandy,
I am going to give you an estimated resale value.
It is a Goodwin Granger bamboo fly rod , made in Denver , CO , my hometown, where I still reside and fish the wonderful rivers in the Colorado mountains.
I can't tell for sure the condition of the rod. It is probably not excellent , the 2nd tip being broken. They should all be the same length. If you sell it on line - get several more , better pictures.
Wright & McGill took over Granger after WWII. So you rods is pre 1946.
Most Grangers I see are from post 1929. The model Victory was not made in the pre 1929 era.
The Victory model sold for $18 in 1947 so there was some left over inventory in those first years. It was a medium price for Granger / W&McG rods
You can verify the above in
Bamboo Rod Restoration Handbook by Michael Sinclair
9 foot rods resale for 10-20% less than short rods.
Price Book:
Antique & Collectible Fishing Rods: Identification & Value Guide by Homel, Dan. 1997 (2nd edition 2000) add about 30% for age of book.
Homel gives the Granger model "Victory" trout fly rod 8 1/2' with an extra tip, 3 sections the value of $75, 175 and $350 for poor, good, and excellent condition respectively.
You might get 150 for it , check ebay , restored I might get 600 for it. email
