my bristrol 73
Question
QUESTION: i bought a bristyrol 73 steal rod whant to restore it how can i get pics of one and r they worth anything
ANSWER: Steve,
I hope that this message finds you well. I am not completely sure of the rod that you currently have, but I'm pretty sure that it is from the 1930's, or earlier. The Horton Manufacturing Company created the design in the 1880's and marketed it through the 1930's. Is your rod telescopic, because if it is then it is the rod that I am thinking of. Although it is a very attractive rod, I don't think they are worth that much, even in great condition. On ebay you may be able to get 25 or 35 bucks for it but that's about it. On ebay I also found a picture of one that is in the link below. I hope I have helped you.
Good Luck!

QUESTION: its not telescopic its one piece and squear and has a round wood handle on any ideas
Answer
Steve,
I am not completely familiar with your rod but I am pretty sure it is from the same time period and has about the same value as the other one. I would suggest you would ask a local antique expert, or ask an antique fishing expert. My expertise is only in fishing and not so much antiques. I am sorry I can not be of more help.
Good Luck,
