Horrocks Nature Lure

Hi Marc,

I recently discovered my grandfather's old tackle box in his barn and found a lure in there I was hoping you might know more about.

The lure is a Minnow No. 19ss.  It is made by Horrocks Nature Lure.  Do you know anything about them?  Are this the same Horrocks of Horrocks-Ibbota?

The fact that I can't find anything about it on Google or Ebay makes me think this might have been a local company back in the day that is no longer around or remembered.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi Eric,

Unfortunately, I cannot find a thing about this lure.  Yes, it's Horrocks and Ibbotson.  They mass produced a lot of tackle, but I have no record of that lure.

I'd run this past Joe Douglas on this site.  He may have some information.  This could be a rare one!
