Winchester Spinning Rod

I purchased a Winchester WC60M spinning rod at an Estate Sale today, but haven't been able to find any information on Winchester fishing equipment/rods.  How much is this rod worth.  It appears to be in excellent condition, all guides present and secure.  Other information on the rod is as follows:
Med Action
Line wgt.  8-17 lb.
Lure Wgt. - 1/4 - 5/8 oz.

Winchester made in USA is also written on the rod.  Thanks in advance for your assistance.  don

To really answer I need rod length and material composition. Is it bamboo flat sided or round -fiberglass. Collectors set the prices and cause the history to be written. They want bamboo fly rods. If yours is neither - take it fishing.

Your rod was made by the arms company - you know the Winchester rifle, "The Gun that Won the West'.

Spin rods just don't command the interest or value of fly rods.

From 1919 to 1925 E.W Edwards built bamboo rods for the munitions manufacturer , Winchester.
EW is well known among collectors as a great maker and his rods bring good prices.

Price Book:
Antique & Collectible  Fishing Rods: Identification & Value Guide Homel, Dan. 1997 (2nd edition 2000) add about 30% for age of book.
Homel gives the following prices for Winchester bamboo spin rods , two sections , 1 tip,'
values are for poor-fair, good- vg, and ex-mint , respectively.

Your model WC60M doesn't look like the model numbers I have seen for Winchester rods.

Another book on EW, Playing With Fire: The Life and Fly Rods of E.W. Edwards Published by White Fish Press author Patrick C. Garner. It unfortunately is probably not going to be in the library. Most Winchester rods made by Edwards were bamboo fly rods.

Homel is at major library systems and maybe Bamboo Rod Restoration Handbook by Michael Sinclair.
