old real

I have an old real that says IRE-line on model number but says Goulder. co On the  back it has Wright&McGill Co. Denver, Colo. I would like to know the model and date. the face of the real is red. thank you.

the model is a "Fre-Line" fishing reel. Wright and Mcgill acquired the Fre-Line company in the 1950s (Fre-line started making reels in the 1940s).  I believe they continued the Fre-line into the 1960s/70s.

They sell for $20 mint in the box, $5 in used condition.
