Richardson 9 fly rod

I found this antique Richardson extendable 9 foot Metal fly rod-1 pc. date unknown, in good condition for it's age.  It will collaspe to a smaller rod. Could you tell me about it and an estimate of value?

Your rod is from a Sporting Goods Distributor, Richardson out of Chicago. They didn't make the rod, but sold it under their name. Metal fishing rods were the low cost alternative to split bamboo rods. They phased with the introduction of fiberglass after WWII. Yours is pre WWII vintage.

Unless the rod is near mint with the original cloth bag, its value is $5-$15.
