whats it worth?

I recently recieved what appears to be an older rod for my last birthday. I'm not very educated in the fishing world as far as accessories and what not. i pulled this off the bottom of the rod "Wright and Mc Gill  denco  b-870 m." I don't know if this helps identify its value or not. I'd apreciate any info about the rod.     being a novice i'd hate to accidently break something of value.

These rods are from the 1960s and 70s (brown are earlier, yellow are later). If its a spinning or bait casting rod its $15 to $30, if its a fly rod $30-60. The range is depending on condition. I believe its a bait casting rod.
