Question
Bag Threads
In your reply to Jeremiah of 8/12/2015. Ihave the same pole. But as you will see it needs work 1. Is there a place one may get the Shakespeare labelthis one is missing part of the top. 2.what would work to remove the old finish with out damage to the pole it self? 3. It looks to be that the was put the pole and the thread as one step? Was this standered of the time?
Thank you

AnswerRoy,
It's a rod not a pole.
Shakespeare might sell you a label but I doubt if you are going to find one. I would not want one.
2- Any oil based - not water - finish remover will work - OL' Dads and Citris
"It looks to be that the ?? was put the pole and the thread as one step?" can't understand this. and what did you mean "Was this standered of the time?" standard?
I recommend you at least get a book before you try refinishing this.
Luck,
Mac
