Selling a South Bend Bamboo Fly Rod No 359

Question
I have inherited my grandfather's South Bend Bamboo Fly Rod No 359, as described in a previous question/answer at this site that stated the estimated value such a rod.  I am not a collector of fishing gear so I want to sell it.  How do you recommend I go about selling it?   From previous information I say it is good to excellent condition with no broken or missing parts.  Interesting that it has two end sections that appear to be for two different flex properties.

Back up your description of condition with observable facts in pictures. Especially important is the finish has smooth texture and is covering all wraps and ferrules. Almost everyone who asks me questions about their rods says their rod is in excellent condition - and a very small minority are  right.

Suggestion pin down the condition - don't say good to excellent. It is one or the other. That's worth $100 right there.

ebay is not a bad place to start, the only other I use is on commission on my web page. Craigslist is going to get you less cash.

Have you put both tips on the rod, and waved it , any noise in the connection(ferrules), should pop when separated - you didn't say 2 or 3 rod sections so I hope that makes sense - make sure the rod works . how do you know "two end sections that appear to be for two different flex properties."? Be careful and learn the common terms - those are tip not end sections - the end is called a butt. Lots of rods for sale at www.macsrods.com and ebay to help you with that.
