no. 1090 wonderrod

Hey Joe,

I found an old 9' shakespeare wonderrod in the foreclosure my mother purchased.

I was able to find that the no. 1090 is from 1959, and it is in mint shape and in a protective sleeve for years keeping the wrappings perfect.  I haven't been able to find an approximate value on the rod (no reel).  My mother was going to throw it in the mix with my old surfcasters for guests to use but I am advising her againt this until I can figure somthing out.

Hi Daniel,

This rod would be valued in the $30-$90 range depending on actual condition of the rod.  It is a model introduced in 1959 and made through the 1960s but neither rare nor with that much of a collector following.

It is a good rod and hsould be fun to fish with.
