Tubes
Question
Great article in In-Fisherman as I have tried tubes under a slip bobber in Racine Harbor in the Fall, but with no success. Between Racine, kenosha and/or Milwaukee Harbor, which one is better and how should they be fished with tubes? I plan to go there on 10/24.
Answer
Hi Hans,
They are all good harbors. Milwaukee Harbor has the most opportunities. No matter the wind direction or weather, you can find somewhere to fish in Milwaukee. The others are great but bad winds can shut them down.
The very small panfish sized tubes can be fished under a float in very cold water situations. The bigger tubes should be cast and worked near the bottom.
Good luck if you come here to fish. You can check the action on my weekly fishing report on the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel website. Follow this path: www.jsonline.com/sports/outdoors/fishreport
It is updated every Thursday.
Good luck,
Marc
