Question I live in fort benning GA. I have seen gar comming to the top of the water. I was trying to catch them with soft and plastic bait. The river that I was fishing in is the chatahuchy. what is the best way to catch gar?
AnswerThey'll hit a soft plastic bait, but setting the hook with that would be very difficult. Your best bet is to go with live bait or a hookless lure.
