Ice fishing line

Question
I strictly ice fish for pan fish. That is what I am limited to in central Illinois.What #test would you recommend ? As all my poles need restrung.

I am not much of a pan fisherman, but I know a few who are and they use light line...as light as 2# test for finesse, usually 4# though.

Mr. Bluegill, the moderator(Troy Peterson) is the man when it comes to ice fishing. I am amazed by all the special things he does to catch bluegills.
