Question
Do i need a separate licence for a diff state? i have a washington but im going to oregon will i need a new one, and what is the best lures to use in WA when fishing for salmon?

  Nice name, Rain. Ok, I do not know a lot about Salmon Fishing. So I asked so friends. Thsis what they told me & the links they sent.
  First , yes you do need a licence for different states, but from what I have read and learned on one of the sites I am sending you, there are provisions for short term reveatioal fishing.

 Yes you need a seperate licences, usually a person can get a 3 day or 7 day license when visiting different states. Best lure for salmon would be herring plug cut if fishing out in the ocean.

Cabela's -- Flodger Flasher/Dodger  these are the ones they come in colors or silver ones they are for trolling.

It is mostly like bigger Trout lures, Squid and Salmon eggs, local bait fish, I 'm not sure of the area so I don't know what is up there, if you need more info let me know i'll look it up. This is a large site for selecting Salmon Lures. It seems if you are going to be trolling, the Bright Colored lures work best, it all depends....
